Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Majivo collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Majivo helps sports coaches and organizations run their programs; much of the data in Majivo is entered by a coach or organization about the athletes and families they serve.

Information we collect

  • Account information — the email address and password you use to sign in, and your date of birth (used to confirm you meet the minimum age; it is not stored as part of your profile).
  • Athlete and customer records — names, and optionally age/grade, photos, and contact details, entered by a parent, guardian, or coach to manage rosters, schedules, and billing.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Majivo stores payment metadata (amounts, status) but not full card numbers.
  • Team communication — messages you send in team chat, and notifications generated by the platform.
  • Usage data — basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve Majivo: to run schedules and rosters, deliver team communication and notifications, process payments, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests. Each business (coach or organization) sees only its own relationship with a customer or athlete, even where an athlete's identity is shared across businesses.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, your coach or organization can send you account, scheduling, and billing text messages through Majivo — such as account-setup invitations, session and practice reminders, booking and registration confirmations, and invoice and payment notifications. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Your mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

Majivo does not create accounts for anyone under 13, and minor athletes never receive their own login or a team-chat seat. Information about a minor athlete is entered and managed by a parent, guardian, or coach as a business record. A parent or guardian may request that a minor's personal information be corrected or removed (see below).

Who we share with

We share information with service providers that help us operate Majivo: Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text-message delivery). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

Data retention and your choices

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet the record-keeping needs of the coach or organization (for example, invoices and attendance history). You can request correction or deletion of personal information. When personal data is anonymized, identifying fields (such as name, date of birth, and photo) are cleared while business records required for accounting are retained without personal identifiers.

To exercise a data request, contact your coach or organization, or email support@majivo.com. See the Data & Privacy section in your account for more.
